The dangers of Vape Cigarettes that arise if you smoke them every day!

Many young people today are starting to switch from using conventional cigarettes to e-cigarettes or commonly known as vapes. The transition from ordinary cigarettes to e-cigarettes by many people is not without reason. Not a few electric smokers think that e-cigarettes are much safer and less harmful than cigarettes in general.

This assumption arises because e-cigarettes are lighter when smoked than regular cigarettes. Therefore, many argue that "vaping" can be an alternative to reduce tobacco use. There are also those who argue that e-cigarettes are able to make someone stop doing these unhealthy habits.

In fact, e-cigarettes also have addictive substances in tobacco cigarettes, namely nicotine. In addition, the trend of e-cigarettes in Indonesia has started to make many regular smokers turn to electric smokers. As a result, the number of vape smokers is increasing and the smoking habit is not significantly reduced.

This example is one of the dangers of vaping that can be obtained by users. There are various other dangers of e-cigarettes that are no less terrible than regular cigarettes or tobacco. Here's the review.

1. Know the difference between vape and tobacco cigarettes

Vape versus cigaretes

Before discussing the dangers of e-cigarettes or e-cigarettes, it would be better if you know how the suction device works first. As the name implies, the e-cigarette or vape is a nicotine conductor using an electronic and electric design. This vape production aims to help tobacco cigarette addicts gradually break the habit by switching to e-cigarettes.

E-cigarettes come in many types, ranging from various shapes and sizes. However, behind the various types, vapes have three important components that must be included in this tool, namely the battery, cartridge and heating element. Without one of these three components, vape will not be able to emit moisture that resembles smoke as from burning in tobacco cigarettes.

Yes, e-cigarettes do not produce smoke when inhaled by the user. Instead, the combustion product from the heat element will produce water vapor which, at first glance, is no different from tobacco cigarette smoke. Perhaps, this is what makes e-cigarettes feel lighter when compared to conventional cigarettes even though they both contain chemicals that are harmful to the body.

Those who have ever used or inhaled the steam have also realized that the aroma is unique. In fact, it is not uncommon for the smoke from e-cigarettes to smell like a fruity or chocolate scent, so it's not as annoying as cigarette smoke in general.

This is because the liquid vape cartridge or tube can be filled with flavor enhancers, in addition to the previously contained nicotine and glycerin or propylene glycol. The batteries and cartridges in most of the newer e-cigarettes can also be refilled or replaced so that users can install new flavor enhancers.

2. Substances Contained in Vape

a. Propylene Glycol

For glycerin or propylene glycol, its function is to produce water vapor that resembles smoke. The effect of inhaling too much glycerin is that, according to several studies, it can cause irritation of the respiratory tract. Some individuals also have different resistance to the potential irritation of this propylene glycol.

b. Nicotine

Nicotine is widely known to have addictive effects for its users. The nicotine content in e-cigarettes is not the same. However, to be sure, the nicotine content is in the range of 0 to 100 mg in one vape product.

c. Flavor Enhancer

The third content, has a role as a feeling of sensation when the vape user inhales water vapor. Usually, the flavors offered are chocolate and fruit. Of course, this flavor enhancer is what makes e-cigarettes loved by young people today.

d. Tobacco-Specific Nitrosamine (TSNA)

Finally, apart from these three ingredients, vape also contains TSNA components. TSNA is a compound that can cause cancer or a carcinogen commonly found in tobacco cigarette products. Although not too much, liquid vape definitely has this nitrosamine, and the greater the nicotine content, the higher the TSNA level.
